The man on the other end of the phone said that he was a highly decorated former CIA officer who wanted me to fly up to Washington DC to meet with him the moment airports opened again. What I initially thought was a terrible joke turned out to be the start of a 25 year career in the field of intelligence, that has since taken me across 120 countries and countless "I can't believe I get paid for this" moments.
